Grand Theft Auto VI Revealed in First Trailer

Rockstar Games officially revealed Grand Theft Auto VI on December 5, 2023 with its first trailer, confirming a return to a modern Vice City within the fictional state of Leonida.

The trailer introduced dual protagonists — Lucia, the series' first leading female protagonist of the 3D era, and her partner Jason — framed around a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style story.

At reveal, Rockstar targeted a 2025 launch window; the date would later shift to 2026.
