Vice City Returns: GTA 6's Setting Explained
Grand Theft Auto VI marks the long-awaited return to Vice City, the Miami-inspired setting last seen in 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
This time the city is just one part of a much larger world: the state of Leonida, a modern reimagining of Florida.
The trailers showcase a sun-drenched, neon aesthetic — beaches and high-rises by day, glowing nightlife after dark — alongside swamps, keys and quieter towns beyond the city limits.
It's both a nostalgic homecoming and the biggest, most detailed open world Rockstar has ever built.
