Take-Two Confirms GTA 6 Won't Be Delayed Again
Take-Two Interactive used its fiscal year 2026 earnings call on May 21, 2026 to firmly reaffirm that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on November 19, 2026 — and that it will not be delayed again.
CEO Strauss Zelnick was direct: "We've been really clear that we're releasing the title on November 19," adding that reiterating the date was "probably a positive." The comments came in response to online rumors of a possible slip into early 2027.
The publisher tied the date to its financials, projecting net bookings of $8 billion to $8.2 billion for the coming fiscal year — a roughly 20% jump year over year — driven primarily by the GTA 6 launch.
It's worth a note of caution: Rockstar has made firm-sounding commitments ahead of previous delays, so nothing is truly locked until launch day. But as of this earnings call, November 19, 2026 stands officially confirmed.
